A Summer of Travel: Liviu Popescu’s Highlight Reel
For Summer 2025, here are seven destinations highly recommended—each offering its own rhythm, atmosphere, and reason to return. Whether you seek stillness, connection, or fun, this itinerary blends it all with intention:
1. Marbella, Spain
May to early June brought the perfect start to summer: warm mornings on the tennis court, peaceful beach walks, and dinners under lemon trees. The Andalusian coast, still calm before peak season, offered the kind of quiet luxury that invites you to slow down and truly enjoy.

2. Champagne, France
At Maison Taittinger in Reims, champagne became more than a drink—it was a journey into legacy and craftsmanship. Each glass carried history, each cellar a reminder that some pleasures are meant to be savored slowly, with reverence.

3. Menfi, Sicily
Unspoiled beaches, local wines, and meals rooted in land and season. Menfi offered a slower rhythm and a sense of connection—with family, with nature, with the essentials.

Time moved gently here, under the Sicilian sun, where simplicity becomes its own kind of luxury.
4. Lisbon & Comporta, Portugal
Lisbon delivered its creative charm and Atlantic views—steep hills, mosaic façades, and a golden, cinematic light. Just an hour south, Comporta revealed long, quiet beaches and pine-scented air, where days unfolded slowly and barefoot.

5. Poiana Brașov & Mamaia, Romania
Two moods, one summer. In Poiana, alpine stillness and misty trails brought grounding—a familiar retreat where the mountains clear the mind. In contrast, Mamaia buzzed with coastal energy: sunny days, warm sea, and festive nights at Fratelli.

6. The Dolomites, Italy
When Europe sweltered, the Dolomites stayed crisp. With panoramic trails, 20°C temperatures and postcard views at every turn, this alpine escape offered renewal through movement and silence alike. It was a final pause before summer began to soften.

Moments That Made the Season
Each of these destinations added a layer to this summer—a different note, a different memory, a different kind of joy. It’s not about how far you go, but how deeply you experience the places you choose.
Whether it’s the first coffee on a Spanish terrace, the first glass of champagne in a Reims cellar, or a quiet drive through the pine forests of Portugal—summer it’s about presence and meaningfull days.
Where will your summer take you?
